Keeping the Torque in New York – and Beyond: STSS & HYTORC of New York Extend Partnership

HYTORC of New York and the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco have announced an extension of their partnership into 2026. HYTORC of New York will present the STSS Modified North Region for the second consecutive year.

The battle for the ’26 HYTORC of New York North Region $15,000 title begins Thursday, May 21 at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y., a first-time visit to the famed venue owned by Howard Commander.

“We’re thrilled to work with HYTORC of New York for the second year in a row,” series organizer Brett Deyo said. “The HYTORC of New York brand is well known across the motorsports community and only helps to elevate our program.”

HYTORC of New York is a “one stop shop” for all torque tool and industrial bolting needs, offering rentals, sales, solutions and training as well as on-site torque wrench calibration and repair of all manual pneumatic, hydraulic and battery powered torque wrenches.

HYTORC of New York will again present a Crew Chief of the Year Award for the series in ’26. The recipient will take home $500 cash and a manual clicker torque wrench ($300 value). The Crew Chief of the Year will be selected based on the following criteria: professionalism, performance, consistency, lack of mechanical failures and DNFs, cleanliness and appearance of the car, crew and equipment.

“I have to say that 2025 was a record year for HYTORC of New York, and our partnership with STSS definitely helped make that happen,” HYTORC of New York owner Anthony Knighten said.

“Brett Deyo, the staff and the racers at STSS have executed our marketing campaign to a tee. The results show not only our success in business throughout the state but has also earned our continued support of the series and racers throughout New York. I’m especially excited to present the Crew Chief of the Year Award at the (2025) Awards Banquet in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on March 7.”
